The first time you run Tilt 4 Windows the initial setup will run. If you want to change any of the settings at a later time you can access them in the User & Main Configuration from the Configuration Tab.
Configuring User & Communication Settings:
Complete the following sections to customize your workspace and link your hardware. Any optional fields can be left blank.
- User Information: Enter your Name, Email Address (required for automated Google Sheets syncing), Brewery Name, and Brewery Tagline.
- Communication Method: Choose how Tilt 4 Windows 2 connects to your hydrometers. Select TiltPi if you are pulling data from a Raspberry Pi network, or select Bluetooth to use your computer’s native Bluetooth antenna. You can also adjust the Update Interval dropdown to choose how often the software polls for new device updates.
- Display Temperatures: Select your preferred thermal unit (Fahrenheit or Celsius) for global use across the application dashboard.
Important: Click the Save Configuration button once all fields are set to commit your preferences.
